He studied as a Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Barcelona, obtaining a medical degree in the year 2000. Subsequently, he will carry out the specialization in ophthalmology at the Vall d'Hebrón University Hospital in Barcelona, obtaining the degree of specialist in ophthalmology in the year 2005.
During the training stage as an ophthalmology specialist, Dr. Torres Blanch shows great interest in the oculoplastic area, focusing his efforts on obtaining the highest index of specialization in this area. After completing the specialty in the year 2005, march to the United States of America to make a stay in supervised training in the main hospitals of the country. Among them we highlight: The Cincinnatti Eye Institute (Ohio), William Beaumont Hospital (Michigan), San Francisco General Hospital (California) and the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital (New York).
After his stay in the United States of America he returns to Spain as a doctor specializing in oculoplastic and researcher. This new stage highlights multiple publications in specialized national and international journals where, among them, the Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery stands out.
He is a member of the main medical-ophthalmological societies such as the Catalan Society of Ophthalmology, Spanish Society of Ophthalmology, Spanish Society of Ocular and Orbital Plastic Surgery and the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
He currently collaborates as an ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastic and orbit in the oculoplastic unit and orbit of Área Oftalmológica Avanzada.
