Jesús Marín graduated in Optics, Optometry and Contactology by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona in 1996. He continued his training with a Master's Course in Optometry and Visual Training at the Center for Optometric Specialization in Madrid (1998-1999) and with the Postgraduate Program in Pediatric Optometry at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia ( 2000-2002). He has been Associate Professor at the Escola Universitaria de Òptica de Terrassa from 1999 to 2013. He has participated in numerous courses, communications and conferences specialized in optometry and ophthalmology, in addition to making some publications in specialized magazines. He obtained the award for the best oral communications at the International Congress of Optometry, Contactology and Ophthalmic Optics held in Madrid in 2008.
Currently embedded in Área Oftalmológica Avanzada as coordinator of the Department of Clinical Optometry and Diagnostic Tests.
