Dr. Fernanda Barros graduated in medicine and surgery at the University of Medical Sciences of the National University of Córdoba in 2014. Later she made her specialization in ophthalology at the Reina Fabiola University Clinic, University of Health Sciences at the University from Córdoba, obtaining the title of specialist in ophthalmology in 2018, ending up as head of residents of the ophthalmology service.
During the specialization period he shows great interest in the area of pediatric ophthalmology y squint. This is transformed into rotations in different hospitals to learn more about this subspecialization, such as in the Pediatric Ophthalmo Service of the Municipal Children's Hospital of Córdoba and in the pediatric ophthalmology office of Dr. Marta Zelter, obtaining in 2019 an out-of-hospital scholarship in pediatric ophthalmography for pathology Eyelid Orbit Vascular in Children. During all this time, he combines his specialization with a Fellow in Retinopathy of prematurity at the Ramón Carrillo Maternal Neonatal Hospital in Córdoba.
Once the specialization is finished and with the intention of continuing training in the campor pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, Dr. Fernanda Barros travels to Barcelona to study a Master's degree in pediatric ophthalmology at the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital.
She currently combines her training at the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu with her clinical activity as an ophthalmologist specializing in pediatric ophthalmology in Área Oftalmológica Avanzada.
