Dr. Aníbal Alé Chilet graduated in medicine in 2013 from the Universidad de los Andes, Chile. Later, he moved to Barcelona where he specialized in Ophthalmology at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, which ends in 2019, becoming head of residents in 2018.
During the specialization, he demonstrates a great interest in the pathology associated with the retina, an area in which he will complement his training by completing a master's degree in Pathology and Surgery of the Posterior Segment of the Ocular Globe at the UAB (2018/2019).
During his residency, he traveled to the United States where he did an observership in the Uveitis unit at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute of Miami.
Dr. Aníbal Alé Chilet has numerous scientific publications published in prestigious journals. In parallel, Dr. Alé has made numerous presentations at both national and international conferences, including EURORETINA and the Spanish Society of Ocular Inflammation (SEIOC).
Currently, Dr. Aníbal Alé Chilet is part of the ophthalmology team of Área Oftalmológica Avanzada in the Retina unit and ophthalmological emergencies.
