He completed a degree in Medicine at the University of Barcelona, obtaining the degree in 2003. After obtaining the degree, he presented himself to the MIR and obtained a place at the Hospital Mútua de Terrassa. During their stay ampHe will complete his academic training in the United States, specifically at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, showing special interest in the campor medical and surgical retina. In this period, he will finish his studies as a resident in 2008, obtaining the degree of medical specialist in ophthalmology.
Over the next few years, he will continue training and obtain titles such as the diploma of advanced studies in ophthalmology (UAB) and the postgraduate degree in applied clinical management (UOC).
In the years to come, he will focus his clinical and research activity in hospitals such as Hospital General de l'Hospitalet, where, in addition to updating clinical action protocols and setting up care units, he will also publish scientific articles in the main popular scientific journals.
Currently his teaching activity is linked to the University of Barcelona as a teacher in master's courses related to diabetes problems and is a reviewer for scientific journals such as Avances en Diabetología.
As an ophthalmologist, he currently carries out his activity as head of the ophthalmology service at the Sant Joan Despi Moisés Broggi Hospital and ophthalmologist at the Retina and Vitreous Unit in Área Oftalmológica Avanzada.
