In this section, Área Oftalmológica Avanzada was able to participate in one of the three discussion tables that were organized, contributing our grain of sand on the future of ophthalmology and the latest technological advances, based on the experience gained through daily work in the clinic, which has recently been launched market Thermaeye,  latest technology created to combat Dry Eye.

The second table was dedicated to the binocular vision and refractive surgery. The Pre-refractive surgery manual was presented: Exploration protocol, binocular vision and accommodation. To conclude, the third roundtable was constituted by optometrists, physicists and ophthalmologists and discussed the latest technological advances and their possible clinical applications. It focused on the development of simulators that will allow assessing how the patient will see with the different types of intraocular lenses before surgery. The possible future of the development of intraocular lenses was also discussed.
