On June 29 and 30 and July 1, the XV Refractive Seville Congress organized by Dr Cezón, director of the CIMO Clinic in Seville. It is an international meeting focused on the theme of refractive surgery, Cataracts and the most relevant aspects of the corneaand lamellar transplant or Keratoconus. It is of special interest because, in addition to the category of participants, oral presentations are combined with live surgery, where the latest developments in both surgical techniques and new technologies are shown.

In these 3 days, new experiences and developments worthy of note have been provided, such as the new calculation programs for intraocular lenses, action nomograms in the Keratoconus, treatment with Cros-Linking or the study of binocular vision prior to surgery.

In the Campor intraocular lenses, the new mixed designs stand out, combining extended focus refractive optics with diffractive rings. During the congress, Dr. Cezón presented the new InFo lens, with a geometry of these characteristics and that it is offering such good results at a clinical level and Dr. Vergés had the honor of performing a surgery of Cataracts at the CIMO clinic and broadcast the implantation technique of this new lens to congress attendees, a world first since it was the first time that live surgery of this type of intervention was offered.
