From March 29 to April 1, 2.017, the VIII World Congress on Controversies in Ophthalmology (8th World Congress on Controversies in Ophthalmology, COPHy) is held in Madrid, one of the most prominent on our calendar. This congress discusses new surgical techniques, new drugs and especially new technologies, the pros and cons with respect to conventional diagnostic systems and treatments.
Área Oftalmológica Avanzada participates with the presence of Dr. Carlos Vergés, invited to develop the role of new systems for the diagnosis and treatment of Dry Eye related to refractive surgery and together with Dr Pablo Infiesta, they present a communication on the new system of Pulsed light high intensity, Thermaeye™ in which we are pioneers and with which a high rate of effectiveness is achieved, higher than 87%, in the improvement of the symptoms of Dry Eye.
